Description
Splendid excursion, not too tiring, along one of the most panoramic and varied paths of the Portofino Natural Park.
ย We will walk along a typical “creuza” (mule track) which will lead us through the typical Ligurian countryside characterised by olive groves to the Gassetta Mill.
Nature, history, traditions and popular culture are intertwined along this route. We will always be accompanied by the colours and scents that make this part of Liguria unique: the intense blue of the sea, the grey-green of the olive trees, the orange of the nets for the olive harvest, the white of the heather flowers or the vivid yellow of the mimosa in spring.
These colours are constantly interspersed with the powerful grey of the stone with which the famous dry stone walls have been skilfully built.
We will proceed then downwards, with panoramic views over the Gulf of Tigullio, to the Portofino fishing village.
Here the colours tha accompained us along this unique excursion will cede the place to the pastel of the Portofino houses facing the famous small square.
